Reports reaching us at Ghnewslab.com has it that, Nigerian Afrobeats star Olamide is now a signee of Konvict Music Worldwide owned by Akon.
The Senegalese-born American singer Akon have signed Olamide to his label after he confirmed it in a live interview on the Breakfast Club.
Akon posited that work between his label and Konvict music has started already.
Akon stated this after he revealed that Nigerian music artistes don’t honor record deals. According to him, what is done in Nigeria is just a gentleman’s agreement with no papers signed.
He also revealed that he once signed Wizkid and Davido, but due to the way Nigerian artiste honor deals, nothing much could be gotten out of their agreement.
Although Akon has made this resounding claims, this Browngh.com has not heard anything from Olamide’s quarters to confirm whether it is true he has been signed to Konvict Music Worldwide.
