Zylofon Media has taken a significant step towards promoting local contents locally and internationally after Zylofon Arts Fund (ZAF) launched an online cinema platform, Zylofon View, to help push that agenda.
The platform, according to ZAF, will be an avenue for people to watch and buy movies from Ghana. Movies will also be premiered on the platform.
Speaking at the launch at the Zylofon Media headquarters in Accra last Friday, Frank Kwabena Owusu, the Public Relations Officer (PRO) of the Zylofon Arts Fund encouraged movie producers to team up with Zylofon View to market their products.
He urged them to submit their works to the fund for examination and possible uploading onto the Zylofon View platform.
“All film producers who have current movies that have not been placed online yet, and have appeal and commercial viability can submit their works to Zylofon Arts Fund for scrutiny and uploads onto the platform.”
According to Mr Owusu, the platform is “a pay per view App where the payment mode could be via VisaCard, MasterCard, Stripe, PayPal and MTN Mobile Money.”
