Nana Addo should create a holiday to commemorate my Beyonce collaboration – Shatta Wale.
Charles Nii Armah Mensah, popularly known as Shatta Wale who was recently featured on Global pop icon, Beyoncé Knowles-Carter’s The Lion King: The Gift album, has called on the Nana Akuffo-Addo led government to institute a public holiday to commemorate his phenomenal feature on the album.
On one of the numerous live interviews he granted after the collaboration on the album he said;
“Today should even be a holiday if the ministry and government are listening to me”.
Shatta Wale also implored on the government to pay more attention to the creative arts industry as it proves to be a vital part of our culture and economy.
The Lion King : The Gift Album is inspired by Live action remake of Disney’s classic animation; The Lion King in which Beyoncé plays Nala. The album was released today 19th July, 2019.
The album features several top artistes from Africa which include; Shatta Wale, Wizkid, Tiwa Savage, Yemi Alade, Tekno, Burna Boy and Mr Eazi.
