John Paintsil breaks silence on dating with Shatta Michy.
For the first time, former Ghana Blackstars player, John Paintsil has spoken about the alleged relationship between him and the former girlfriend of Shatta Wale, Michy Diamond.
In an interview on Peace FM, John Paintsil stated that he has no relationship with Shatta Michy and he is not pleased with manner people want to destroy his image.

According to the former Fulham and West Ham defender, although he is divorced, he has a woman in his life and does not appreciate how people want to create such problems for him.
John Paintsil said:
“Trying to wrap me around someone’s wife is not on….I have a woman in my life. You putting [out] that story could cause a lot of problems,” he said.
“There is nothing going on between me and Shatta Michy. We don’t have that connection. Sometimes I feel so sorry about the way the media just go on and put something that they don’t have any clue about it, destroying peoples homes…If you want to write something about them you have to show some respect,” the former Fulham and West Ham defender said.
Somewhere last month, the media was rife with allegations that John Paintsil is in a relationship with Sahtta Michy. People were tempted to believe after a photo of the two being cozy at an event popped up.
With Shatta Michy single after being dumped by Shatta Wale and John divorced, it was easier to believe the alleged ongoing affair.

There were even reports John Paintsil bought Shatta Michy her new house. But Shatta Michy came out to deny the rumors and stated she bought her own house “with her hard earned money at age 25”.
