Arsenal willing to sacrifice four players to sign Thomas Partey
Arteta and Arsenal are not ready to lose Ghana’s Thomas Partey at their club this season as the club is willing to do anything to sign him.
Arsenal are are trying to cash in on four players to fund a transfer for Atletico Madrid midfielder Thomas Partey.
The Gunners are mooted to be the next destination of the Ghana international after the English giants made him a top summer target.
Mikel Arteta’s side have been boosted by reports that the 27-year-old is keen to switch Madrid for London.
However, the Emirates Stadium outfit are currently unable to afford the former Real Mallorca midfielder’s £44.5 million buy-out clause.
Reports indicate that the club are desperately trying to offload Hector Bellerin, Matteo Guendouzi, Sokratis Papastathopoulos and Rob Holding, according to the Mirror.
Atletico Madrid rejected a swap deal for Partey including Guendouzi, who won’t be short of suitors.
Bellerin could however be the first player the club will sell following reports that he is on the verge of joining French giants Paris Saint Germain.
Newcastle United have been targeting a loan for Holding, but Arsenal may now push for a permanent sale, leaving only Sokratis to find a club
