Information reaching Ghnewslab.com indicates that two armed robbers have been knocked down by a driver at Taifa Burkina in the Ga East Municipal District.

According to reports, the driver of the white Pontiac car chased the two armed robbers for about fifteen minutes before knocking them down.

According to an eyewitness, the victim identified as Junior was robbed by two armed robbers on a motorbike after he returned from the bank.

The armed robbers later attacked a mobile money agent close to the Roman Catholic Church at Burkina and bolted with the money.

The first victim, Junior chased the robbers and was able to knock them down at Wakiki junction but sustained several injuries after his car somersaulted in the process.

One of the robbers fell off the bike and was arrested and the other managed to escape but he ran out of luck after he was apprehended by angry residents in a bush nearby.

Currently, the two armed robbers have been handed over to the Dome-Kwabenya police for further investigation and prosecution.
