Here’s when Nana Akufo Addo will do the next ministerial reshuffle

Here’s when Nana Akufo Addo will do the next ministerial reshuffle according to Gabby Otchere Darko.

Cousin of President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo and a powerful man within the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Gabby Asare Otchere Darko has revealed there will be a reshuffle if the man who is at the helm of affairs feels the need for it.

According to him, Akufo-Addo who has the vested powers is the only person mandated to determine who he wants to be in his government and who he wants out and therefore it does not lie in his purview.

Responding to a question from Metro TV’s Paul Adom-Otchere on whether the time is not ripe for the President to do a reshuffle, he answered “the reshuffle… it is only one man who will decide when he feels he needs a reshuffle “

Meanwhile, he has mounted a spirited defense for the president’s elephant size government indicating that the results will at the end of the day speak for itself.

“I think that it is not as if he wanted to give jobs to the boys or girls, he did that because he felt he needed to do so, to have the political leadership that was required or is required to implement his vision,” he said.

He said the president argued that “you can say that in the UK, but I have been an Attorney General, BA (Brong Ahafo) we had two Lawyers, doing prosecution and you are telling me about a lean government? I don’t buy into this lean government; I buy into the personnel that are required to undertake a project”.
