Ghana National Service Personnel to resume Work on May 4th.

Management of National Service Scheme Ghana has issued a press release signed by the Executive Director, Hon Mustapha Ussif directing all national service personnel to resume work effective on Monday, May 4, 2020.

As part of President’s Akufo-Addo precautionary directives on Coronavirus, all national service personnel, NABCO officers and other non-essential staff were to take one month mandatory paid-leave on Thursday, March 26, 2020.

In the statement, the National Service Scheme directed all personnel to resume work on Monday, May 4.

The statement said, “this special arrangements were put in place in order to protect all personnel from Novel Coro Virus( COVID-19). Note that those within the non-Subvented Institutions shall consult their institutions for new development. National Service Personnel are to take note that their service ends on 1st September, 2020 and schools across the country remain closed and will be opened at the appropriate time”.
